Electric Range Outlet Installation

Electric ranges and cooktops draw 40–50 amps at 240V — the largest single-appliance load in most kitchens. Flash Power LLC installs new range circuits, converts old 3-prong outlets to 4-prong for new appliances, and hardwires cooktops where required.

Our process

1. 1. Verify appliance
   Amperage from nameplate, plug type, hardwire vs outlet.
2. 2. Route circuit
   6/3 or 8/3 pulled from panel to kitchen with minimal drywall damage.
3. 3. Install
   Outlet or hardwire junction box installed with strain relief and torqued terminations.
4. 4. Test
   Under-load test with heating element to verify each phase.
